How does Electric Dental Anesthesia work differently from traditional methods?

Electric Dental Anesthesia is delivered via a device that looks like a pen.  No more scary-looking syringes!  It delivers a gentle, metered dose that eliminates the burning and stinging sensation traditionally associated with local anesthetic, and penetrates immediately for instant, profound anesthesia and comfort to the area. 

Benefits to your child are:

1. No topical anesthesia is needed, so no yucky, artificial taste or feeling of numbing jelly on the tongue or throat. 

2.  Initiation and administration of the local anesthetic is imperceptible to most patients, even if they are nervous or scared.

3.  No numb cheeks, lips and tongue, so no accidental cheek, lip or tongue bites. Only the teeth being treated and the immediate gingiva of those teeth get numb.  Your kid can return to school or activities after the procedure with no worries of self-injury due to numbness.

4.  Anesthesia is immediate. We can get to work immediately after administering, so your child's appointments are shorter and more efficient.
